Lindsay: Do You Feel "Bossy"?
Wed., May. 7, 2008 6:57 AM PDT
When she wasn’t out trying on coats, Lindsay Lohan has been working on music.
Take a listen to what’s said to be her latest jam, “Bossy.”
Love it? Hate it? Not as good as the Kelis song?
Lindsay Lohan Wears Coat. Makes Headlines
Tue., May. 6, 2008 2:05 PM PDT
Four months ago, Lindsay Lohan may or may not have accidentally walked out of a NYC nightclub with this $11,000 blond mink coat.
The jacket's owner—a Columbia University student who received the garment as a gift from her grandma—claims she later saw LiLo wearing said coat in OK! magazine, got her lawyers involved and got it back from 1 Oak nightclub "reeking of cigarettes and booze with a slight tear in the lining."
The fur was patched up good as new, but now the college coed wants a $10,000 "rental" fee for the three weeks it was missing.
We say this "as worn by" coat has gotten more press (here, here and here) and achieved a greater degree of fame than most H'wood wannabes could ever dream of. For that, the girl should pay Linds—the thing could net a fortune on eBay.

Lindsay Gets Her Ugly On
Sun., May. 4, 2008 9:00 AM PDT
Life just got a whole lot uglier for Lindsay Lohan.
The trouble-prone actress began work Saturday on an extended guest spot for ABC's hit series Ugly Betty, according to Daily Variety.
Everybody's favorite mean girl is playing a former classmate of America Ferrera's Betty Suarez character, who, natch, wasn't that nice to Betty back in their school days. However, when the two bump into each other again, Lohan's character is down on her luck.
LiLo makes her debut on the show's May 22 season finale and will appear in five episodes next season.
Lindsay Made Unwitting Poster Child for Drunkards
Fri., May. 2, 2008 2:37 PM PDT
Here's guessing Lindsay Lohan won't be renewing her USA Today subscription.
The actress' attorney, Blair Berk, is blasting the ordinarily banal publication as "idiotic" for running a full-page advertisement Friday that uses Lohan's mug—and mug shot—to rail against an anti-DUI device.
The ad, bankrolled for by the American Beverage Institute, a trade group for liquor companies, states that ignition interlockers, which prevent a car from starting if booze is detected on the driver's breath, "are a great tool for getting hard-core drunk drivers off our roads" (presumably including Lindsay, or "Lindsey" as the print version misspells it) but otherwise infringes on civil liberties.
Making such devices standard would create a doomsday scenario, per the ad: "No more champagne toasts at weddings, no more wine with dinner, no more beers at a ballgame. Let's stop drunk driving without eliminating our traditions."
And that made Lohan's lawyer apoplectic.
Ugly Betty Rumor Patrol
Fri., May. 2, 2008 2:30 PM PDT
Art, life and Ugly Betty. Bear with us as we try to distinguish the difference.
America Ferrera's on-set wardrobe this week (specifically a honking-big diamond ring) sparked real-life engagement rumors between the 24-year-old actress and her longtime boyfriend, Ryan Piers Williams.
"Not true," her rep tells E! News about the report. But no word on which TV boyfriend might have popped the question. (We're still pulling for you, Henry!)
Meanwhile, producers are reportedly considering stunt-casting Lindsay Lohan for the show's finale May 22 and bringing her back for an even bigger arc next season.
To which we say—Naomi Campbell, Christian Siriano, Nina Garcia, Victoria Beckham—just how many divas can Mode absorb? Apparently, the answer is, never enough.
Keanu Lifts Lindsay's Legal Team
Fri., May. 2, 2008 10:18 AM PDT
Keanu Reeves is going where Lindsay Lohan's gone before to get out of some car trouble.
Reeves has hired the law firm of La Follette, Johnson, De Haas, Fesler & Ames, the same legal eagles who successfully defended Lohan in her infamous 2005 busboy smashup, to represent him against a paparazzo who claims he was dinged by the Matrix star's ride more than a year ago.
Reeves' previous lead lawyer, Jeffrey Redd, bailed on the case last week. The Lohan-approved team had signed on last month to assist Redd in the case, but now will run point.
Burning Q's: Dancing Tunes & LiLo's Buddy
Wed., Apr. 30, 2008 11:08 AM PDT
Who picks what music contestants dance to on Dancing With the Stars? Is it selected by the professional? My friend says they are told what song to dance to—I think no way! Help!
—A.H.
The pros can request certain songs, but in the end, it's the producers' call, an ABC spokeswoman tells me. "Most of the time," she says, "the song is selected by the producers, and the dancers don't know what their next song will be until after the Tuesday results show." Got it? Now, let's get on with this. Next!
What's really going on between Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson?

Lindsay Steps Out for Scarlet
Tue., Apr. 29, 2008 10:55 AM PDT
Lindsay Lohan hit the red carpet last night and, for once, she wasn't with BFF (and constant companion) Samantha Ronson. Instead, Linds arrived with longtime pal Patrick Aufdenkamp (not pictured).
The occasion was the mock premiere for the new TV series Scarlet, which was actually the launch party for LG Electronics' Scarlet series LCD televisions.
But LiLo wasn't sticking around for her closeup. She quickly posed for a few pics before hightailing it past reporters and inside the theater.
L.L. must have been in a hurry, because she left before the presentation was over, even walking out while someone was still speaking on stage.

Is This Lindsay Lohan Comeback for Real?
Mon., Mar. 31, 2008 5:19 PM PDT
Does Lindsay Lohan have any chance of an actual comeback? I keep reading that she's coming back, but so far all I've seen about her is magazine covers and that Chapter 27 movie premiering.
—Dean, New York City
Magazine covers aren't just magazine covers in this business. They're designed to send messages to producers, casting directors and jaded audience members.
Take that recent New York magazine cover shoot, where LiLo mimicked those ancient shots of a naked Marilyn Monroe. The guy who orchestrated that shoot was the same dude who photographed Marilyn decades ago. Sitting still for a guy who's nearly 80 years old while he shambles around trying to re-create the bygone kickiness of the early 1960s, all without once dissolving into a puddle of crazy—that takes talent.
How Can Lindsay and Britney Keep Spending So Much Money?
Tue., Mar. 11, 2008 11:16 AM PDT
I don't get it—I keep reading reports that Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears are broke or getting near it. If that is so, how do they keep spending money like there is no tomorrow? How do these celebrities keep spending when they are not working?
—Cristina, Denver, Colorado
Well, it's a multitiered process. First, Britney has to ooze out of her compound and announce to her stable of paparazzi that's she hot, y'all. Then she has to make sure there's at least one shady guy in a baseball cap ready to hold her black card.
And then she has to bleat orders to the hinky guy to take her shopping before she disintegrates into a volcanic mass of trap grease and brightly colored synthetic fiber. Spending a reported $16,000 a month in clothes—it's a complicated affair.
