The upcoming Stand Up to Cancer benefit is beginning to look like the Oscars, the Emmys and the Grammys rolled into one.
I just got word that newlywed Ellen DeGeneres has signed on to work the phonebank during the live telecast of the fundraiser on Sept. 5.
The talk-show pooh-bah isn't the only new name added to the roster...
Ellen & Portia: Lunch, Yes. Honeymoon, No
The honeymoon is over. Well, sort of.
Just two days after tying the knot, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi took a leisurely postwedding stroll in West Hollywood Monday afternoon as they headed to Real Food Daily for lunch.
"This is it," Ellen revealed, when asked where the newlyweds would be going for their honeymoon. "I have to go back to work."
The talk-show host kept mum about the couple's nuptials, but she did tell photographers that "it feels great to be married."

Ellen & Portia Prep for Home Wedding?
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi's wedding preparations have begun—and it appears the nuptials will take place at their $29 million love nest.
E! News can confirm that Revelry Event Designers, the same company that jazzed up Joe and Tina Simpson's pad for Ashlee and Pete Wentz's big day, is sprucing up the couple's Beverly Hills estate.
A truck from L.A. florist Mark's Garden made a delivery to the couple's home Friday morning. (Ellen, 50, and Portia, 35, plan to wed this weekend, reportedly on Saturday night.)
Also spotted at Ellen's 8,500-square-foot mansion Friday: Ellen's mom, Betty, who was seen driving out of her daughter's driveway shortly before noon.
Ellen, Tyra, Rachael Ray Share Daytime Emmy Glory
It's going to take an army—or at least a stronger contingent than they've got over at The View—to take down Ellen DeGeneres.
The master of witty self-deprecation won her fourth consecutive trophy for Outstanding Talk Show Host, once again besting Barbara Walters & Co. and Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa, at the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
"I never take this for granted...Every single year, I know people joke about it…It's not what we do it for, but it feels so good," DeGeneres said while thanking her fans, crew, family and fiancée, Portia de Rossi.
"We all know this has been a crazy year. On my show, we've done a lot of crying and a lot of laughing, and I've cried all by myself and people laugh, and then I cry some more...I know you're counting me down, but it's the longest day of the year, I just read, so I can go on," she continued, referring to tonight's summer solstice.

Ellen's 50th Birthday: Stars, Fireworks & Doughnuts!
I was the first to tell you that Ellen DeGeneres was going to have a big birthday party Saturday night.
Well, she did. And the guest list at the Warner Bros. studio lot's carnival- and casino-themed soirée was star-studded...

Ellen, Regis, Restless Rack Up Daytime Emmy Noms
Ellen DeGeneres just got eight more reasons to dance.
While CBS' The Young and the Restless scored a commanding 17 nominations for the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards this morning, DeGeneres took the lead among her chatty peers, racking up the most nods among her talk-show brethren.
In addition to getting singled out with an Outstanding Talk Show Host nomination, The Ellen DeGeneres Show is also up for Outstanding Talk Show (Entertainment), vying against Rachael Ray and The View.
Notably absent from the category, however, is perpetual favorite Live With Regis & Kelly, which this year once again entered itself into the Talk Show race after last year's ill-fated foray into the Outstanding Morning Program category. While it earned a nomination last year, it ended up the biggest loser, after the two other shows in the field tied for the Emmy.
GLAAD Tidings in Hollywood
Kathy Griffin sure knows how to yuk it up with her gays.
The redheaded funnylady picked up the Outstanding Reality Program award for her My Life on the D-List last night during the GLAAD Media Awards at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.
“I got the Michael Kors dress, the H. Stern jewelry and [stylist] Robert Verdi put me together,” she said. “I didn’t let a straight person near me tonight.”
While there were plenty of yuks throughout the evening, there were just as many serious notes.
