Dancing Stars Burgled!
Talk about waltzing away with it...
Some enterprising thieves in Minneapolis this weekend broke into a van being used by Dancing with the Stars hoofers and swiped thousands of dollars worth of personal electronics from the likes of Dancing pros Mark Ballas and Derek Hough.
Cheryl Burke: No Same-Sex Dancing for Lance Bass
Will Lance Bass be a contestant on the next season of Dancing With the Stars? And if so, will he have a male dancing partner?
Veteran DWTS professional hoofer Cheryl Burke says she'd love to see the former boy-band singer on the show, but she predicts we won't be seeing same-sex footwork anytime soon.
"I don't think that would happen," Burke said at Maxim magazine's Extreme Sports party last night at the Stork in Hollywood. "I don't think America is ready to watch two men dancing."
However, gay media watchdog group GLAAD thinks ABC could decide to go there, because the network has a good history of pushing the man-on-man envelope. “ABC has shown an admirable commitment to representing gay people on many of their most popular shows," a GLAAD rep said in a statement, "and we hope they continue to build on that in the future.”
A-List Secrets: Catch a Star in Their Own Store
Was thinking about celeb-owned businesses, like the Kardashians' boutique in Calabasas, Calif. How much of a chance is there that a celeb owner is on hand when you drop by?
—Erica, Palmdale, Calif.
During the two weeks a month or so that they're in town, the Kardashian girls are "in and out of the store all day long," according to Kris Jenner. Kind of like the female Flying Zucchini Brothers of fashion, I guess. Good luck with that.
Your odds increase greatly in the case of Belle Gray, a boutique run by both Lisa Rinna and her fabulously pneumatic lips.
Here's why:
Karina Smirnoff Talks Mario, Tears Up on Chelsea
Karina Smirnoff sat down with E!'s Chelsea Handler Monday for an appearance on tonight's Chelsea Lately.
In the interview, which will air in its entirety on tonight's show, Smirnoff spoke for the first time about her split with Mario Lopez and about an E! News report in which Hooters model Meaghan Cooper claims Mario cheated on Smirnoff with her.
What did she have to say? You might be surprised...
Wedding Bells (Again) for Sara Evans
If at first you don't succeed...
Sara Evans married former University of Alabama quarterback Jay Barker Saturday evening in an outdoor ceremony on a farm in Franklin, Tenn., a rep for the country music star confirmed. It's the second marriage for both.
More than 130 guests witnessed the bride, 37, being escorted down the aisle by her 8-year-old son Avery, per People. The black-and-white-themed ceremony was a family affair, with the couple's seven children (Evans has three and Barker has four) serving as attendants.
Lopez and Smirnoff Done Dancing
A month ago it was "all good" between Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff.
Today, not so much.
The Dancing With the Stars on- and offscreen duo has officially uncoupled.
“Karina has parted ways with her two-year relationship with Mario Lopez," Smirnoff's publicist, Melissa Berger, tells E! News. "The relationship wasn’t heading in the right direction."
Lopez issued his own gracious parting statement.
"Karina and I have the utmost respect for each other," he said. "She is a phenomenal and talented woman. I support her always and feel blessed to have her in my life."
Spoofing With the Stars
Ever wonder what goes on inside the minds of the Dancing With the Stars contestants while they're performing in front of millions of viewers?
Then check out this video featuring former celebrity hoofer Shannon Elizabeth and her partner, Derek Hough, strutting their stuff—with the help of a beautiful sunset, a sprinkling of moondust and, oh yeah, a rubber chicken.
If only the real thing were this good.
Dancing Star Recovering From Surgery
After placing third on Tuesday's Dancing With the Stars season finale, Cristián de la Fuente is recovering at home in Los Angeles from surgery to his left arm.
"I was able to get a perfect repair of the bicep. Cristián will spend about a week in a splint, then start rehab," said Dr. Neal S. Elattrache. Full recovery will take about three months.
"Thank you to everyone for their concern and well wishes," de la Fuente said in a statement to People magazine.
The 34-year-old actor tore a tendon live on-air while dancing the samba back in April. Despite the injury, he and dance partner Cheryl Burke mamboed, tangoed and fox-trotted their way into the top three.

Mario Lopez Likes to Get Naked
Mario Lopez has nothing to be ashamed about when it comes to his body.
But even he has his limits.
The former Dancing With the Stars contestant told me Playgirl has come calling. “I politely declined,” he said with a laugh. “It’s not something for me at the moment. But it’s ironic, because I’m, like, ‘nature boy.’ I’m always running around the house in underwear or nothing.”
Lopez didn’t invite me to hang at his place, but no matter. Just check out his new book, Mario Lopez’s Knockout Fitness.
DWTS Beat-by-Beat: Kristi Back on Top, Barely
Step in time with our Dancing With the Stars performance-show liveblog:
Only four stars remain and each will be performing two dances chosen at random, meaning they could wind up redoing their favorites or be forced to revisit their own personal ballroom hells. Either way, good times for us.
For some reason, the judges have reinstated the no-lift rule after allowing one per dance last week (which makes the choreography way more fun, but whatever), and expectations are high for one of the stronger semifinals in recent memory.
"Give it some welly," head judge Len Goodman reminds the group. And away we go with Jason Taylor's fox-trot...

Ousted Mario Talks!
As you probably know, the R&B crooner was voted off Dancing With the Stars last night along with his dancing partner, Karina Smirnoff.
Read on for our—sigh!—final chat in which he reveals who he thinks should win and a whole lot more.
Karina Smirnoff: Which Mario Is Her Favorite?
Looks like Mario Lopez may have to go from A Chorus Line to the back of the line—at least when it comes to being Karina Smirnoff's favorite dancing dude.
Despite the rumored romance between Lopez and his Dancing With the Stars partner from a few seasons back, Smirnoff tells E! News at the show's 100th-episode celebration Tuesday night that the other Mario, with whom she was just eliminated, was "the best partner ever": "If I could have him back for next season as well, I would love to...We really did click, and we had a great time and great chemistry."
Lopez will no doubt be looking for a less threatening Mario for Smirnoff to compete with next season.
May we suggest Sex and the City's Mario Cantone?
