Angelina's Due Date Revealed: Aug. 19

Angelina Jolie
's talking babies, but only, it seems, because everybody else is.

Following yesterday's confirmation by the actress that she is in fact having twins—Kung Fu Panda costar Jack Black inadvertently broke the news while the two were being interviewed by the Today show's Natalie Morales—comes word that another costar, Dustin Hoffman, has revealed her due date.

During Thursday's morning show on NBC, Morales told Today's Matt Lauer that in a separate interview with Hoffman, the actor said Jolie is due Aug. 19.

The twins will be the fifth and sixth children for Jolie and Brad Pitt. Their brood already consists of Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, who is almost 2.

In the meantime, we'll just sit back and wait for someone other than Jolie to spill the beans on what sex the babies will be.

Dennis Quaid Takes a Stand on Twins' Behalf

Dennis Quaid Paul Morigi/WireImage.com

Dennis Quaid was a man on a mission today.

Motivated by the pain experienced by his own family, the actor testified before Congress Wednesday about the overdose of blood thinners his newborn twins were given at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in November, which led to his current lawsuit against heparin maker Baxter Healthcare Corp.

Taking away individuals' rights to take pharmaceutical companies to court and hold them accountable for their actions would turn consumers into "uninformed and uncompensated lab rats," Quaid said.

In an effort to ward off costly, time-consuming litigation, the Food and Drug Administration has argued in the past on the behalf of the drug makers that federal regulation supersedes the need for state action.

But Quaid, having seen firsthand that government oversight leaves plenty of room for error, doesn't agree.

"Like many Americans, I believed that a big problem in our country was frivolous lawsuits," Quaid testified. "But now I know that the courts are often the only path to justice."

Surprise, Surprise: Angelina's Having Twins

Angelina Jolie—finally!—confirmed Tinseltown's worst-kept secret: She's pregnant with twins.

According to NBC's Today, the actress was giving an interview to show host Natalie Morales in Cannes Wednesday to promote her new animated film Kung Fu Panda when the news slipped out, courtesy of costar Jack Black, who was sitting beside her.

Black: "You're gonna have as many as the Brady Bunch when you have these."

Morales: "So is that confirmed? Is it two?"

Angelina confirmed it was true, subsequently ending months of "speculation."

The twins will be Angie and Brad Pitt's fifth and sixth children—joining siblings Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh.

No word yet on baby names, but something tells us Jack is not going to be one of them.

Happy Mother's (and Others) Day

Jayden James Federline X17online.com

We don't know if it actually takes a village to raise a celebrity child, but it does seem to take an army of nannies, mannies, bodyguards and drivers to get the job done.

So on the day we celebrate the awesomeness of moms, we thought we'd take a moment to salute all the other caregivers.

And who knows, maybe you'll get a bonus or something, too.

Xtina's Babysitter Works Overtime

More from H'Wood Party Girl

It was another late night for Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman.

The new parents were at Villa Tuesday—where they stayed until an hour past closing time. When the twosome finally exited the club at 3 a.m., with Jordan helpfully carrying his wifey's purse, a pack of paparazzi was waiting for them.

Just last week, Xtina hit Crown Bar and needed Jordan's help keeping her balance as she left. We wonder what's up with their wild nights...are they blowing off steam or just trying to maintain the same schedule as baby Max?

Either way, their babysitter must be making bank.

Spears Sisters' Shower Reunion A-OK!

Jamie Lynn Spears, Britney Spears, OK! Magazine OK! Magazine

All it took for a family reunion was an unexpected family addition.

Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears met up in their hometown of Kentwood, La., over the weekend, the first face-to-face for the sibs since last October. The nonpregnant sister was one of nearly two dozen female friends who convened at Serenity, the estate owned by the pop star but inhabited by her sister and mother, Lynne, to herald the delivery of her niece-to-be.

And, per usual, OK! magazine was on hand to document the to-do, which was organized and hosted by mama Lynne.

"It was wonderful to be able to spend time with her and just be girls again," the 17-year-old expectant mother said of her sisterly reunion. "We painted our nails and did stupid stuff, and we had our private time too. To be able to be in the privacy of our own home and just be sisters again was wonderful."

"She just ran up," she said of the Britster's greeting. "She obviously couldn't pick me up. We gave each other a big hug. It was a really good feeling."

The Office Accountant Multiplies

Angela Kinsey Dan MacMedan/WireImage.com

A first name is apparently the only attribute Angela Kinsey shares with her prudish Office character.

The sitcom star and her TV-writer hubby Warren Lieberstein (who obviously never euthanized her cat) welcomed daughter Isabel Ruby Lieberstein on Saturday afternoon, People reports. The little one weighed in at 6 pounds, 14 ounces.

"Mom and baby are doing great," rep Tess Finkle said. This is the couple's first child.

Proving that it's not always terrible to take your work home with you, Kinsey's longtime costar Jenna Fischer was among the friends and family members awaiting Isabel's arrival at the hospital.

"By the way, Jenna has the best reactions of anyone," Kinsey wrote in February on her MySpace blog, the medium she used to announce her pregnancy in November. "If you have big news to tell someone and want a great response...tell Jenna!"

When she revealed the good news, the 36-year-old actress also noted that her mother was already "quilting like a mad woman."

Dwight would be so pleased.

Tom Returns to the Scene of the Crime

Tom Cruise went back to where it all began Friday.

We could mockingly lead you astray for pages and pages as to what that means, but you all know: The microscopically examined movie star sat down next to Oprah Winfrey today for the first time since…yeah, that.

And except for the fact that Cruise is now the remarried father of a 2-year-old daughter—who does, in fact, partly resemble him—with a recent flop under his belt rather than a box-office topper, not a whole lot has changed.

Speaking from the sanctity of Cruise and Katie Holmes' Telluride, Colo., manse on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the actor's breakthrough role in Risky Business, Oprah asked her pal about "the couch" and his relationship with Katie Holmes, Scientology and his beliefs, Brooke Shields, Matt Lauer and making movies.

This time, of course, she also got to ask about that in-house sonogram machine, whether he believes in God, whether Suri is his and whether—knowing that hindsight is 20/20—he would now think twice about putting his feet (not to mention his heart and soul) on the furniture.

Britney Goes South for the Weekend

Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn Spears Kevin Mazur/WireImage.com, Darby Shaw/ZUMAPress.com

With her little sis about to pop, Britney Spears has her sights set on home this weekend.

Sources on the scene tell E! News the "Toxic" singer—with dad Jamie vigilantly in tow—is back in Louisiana today for Jamie Lynn's baby shower, which is taking place Saturday at Lynne Spears' home in Kentwood.

Britney is said to be bunking at mom's house, where security personnel have set up shop and police are blocking entrance to their street.

This is Brit's first trip back to her hometown since last fall, when she became embroiled in her current—and, can you believe it, increasingly less bizarre—custody battle.

Which, as it's so wont to do, will require Britney's presence back in Los Angeles on Tuesday, when she's expected to attend the latest custody hearing in the ongoing process, this one to address the results of a court-ordered 730 psych evaluation.

E! News caught up with Kevin Federline legal eagle Mark Vincent Kaplan last night and he filled us in on what to expect in Britney's near custodial future.

Edie Falco Doubles Her Brood

Edie Falco Steve Granitz/WIreImage.com

After being a mother of two on TV for so long, Edie Falco must have figured it would be worth trying in real life.

The Sopranos matriarch adopted a baby girl from Florida in February, Falco's manager, Richie Jackson, tells People.

Macy joins brother Anderson, 3, who Falco adopted in December 2004.

"Everybody is thrilled and doing great," Jackson said.

Next up for Falco, who was born and bred and houses her brood in New York, is an as-yet untitled Showtime comedy in which she plays a seasoned ER nurse.

Gwyneth: Action Movies Make You a Better Mom!

Iron Man Industrial Light & Magic

It makes sense. No, really it does. Making a big, loud summer movie about an arms dealer-turned-superhero is good for new moms. Just listen to Gwyneth Paltrow.

The still-new mother of two made Iron Man her first major role since shooting Proof in 2004, when she was pregnant with her daughter, Apple.

"Why not?" she tells E! News this week, explaining her easy action-flick schedule. "It's great. They have you for this many hours, and you can go home and sleep."

When her son Moses was 1, the part of Pepper Potts, right-hand-gal to Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark (aka Iron Man), came along. Director Jon Favreau reeled her in.

"It was just the perfect job for me," Paltrow says. "I was back in California in the house that I grew up in when I was little. It was just before my mother sold it, and I was with my kids."

She worked two or three days a week—cake for an actress used to more serious roles. "I felt that I was with [Apple and Moses] more than I was at work," she says. "When I went to work, I had so much fun."
