Dancing Ready to Roam Again

Sabrina Bryan may have gotten a bum deal last week, but apparently she's not one to hold a grudge.

The castoff Cheetah Girl will join Joey Lawrence, Monique Coleman, Wayne Newton and Marie Osmond for the third annual Dancing with the Stars—the Tour, scheduled to kick off Dec. 18 in Seattle.

Tickets for the 37-city spinoff go on sale Saturday.

Season- two champ Drew Lachey, who filled in for new mom Samantha Harris as emcee on Dancing with the Stars last month (and has signed on to host Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli's new ABC show, Dancing War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann), will pop up here and there on the road for special guest performances, as will a handful of as yet unannounced celebrities.

Bryan, whose premature elimination from the ballroom during the hit series' sixth week prompted outward displays of dismay from the audience, the judges and the usually impartial hosts, will reteam with professional partner and, as it turns out, real-life love interest Mark Ballas Jr. for the upcoming tour.

The moony-eyed duo had already pretty much let the cat out of the bag last Tuesday when Bryan called Ballas "baby" on camera while she was thanking him for his support, and he followed that up by telling her, "I love you." But it wasn't until after their elimination that they were able to make time for a first date.

"I absolutely love and adore him," Bryan told tvguide.com on Saturday, adding that they had some together time planned for Sunday. He's joking that it's our first date, because we've always hung out, millions of times, millions of dinners. But this is different."

Joining the chemistry-enhanced couple will be Lawrence and his original Dancing partner Edyta Sliwinska, who's still in the game with Cameron Mathison this season; Osmond and Jonathan Roberts, also still hanging in there; Newton and two-time winner Cheryl Burke; and pros Derek Hough, Alec Mazo (Edyta's hubby) and Brian Fortuna. It's unclear which of the remaining gentlemen will take the lead with Coleman.

Dancing alum Louis Van Amstel is returning to the tour as resident choreographer.

Meanwhile, Osmond, Mathison, Jennie Garth, Melanie Brown, Helio Castroneves and Jane Seymour are left to fight for bragging rights and the illustrious disco ball trophy. LeAnn Rimes is scheduled to sing on Tuesday's results show.

Dancing with the Stars' Monday performance show is the fall TV season's highest-rated show to date, averaging 20.7 million viewers, while Tuesday's results are attracting more than 17.1 million people each week, according to Nielsen Media Research.

The show will not be affected by the Hollywood writers' strike.
